The agenda for Monday night includes some airport business, it does not say what, but Gib said the City tabled the tenant proposed lease to lower the rent to $125/month, so this could be what it is about. Gib also said that the alderman not only SMIRKED at the $125 idea, they thought it was laughable, and that is what they did, laugh, out loud. But of course that was not in the paper either.
Thats ok,I smirked when the FAA sent them the last letter telling them the closure was on hold until the airport was in compliance and they came clean on the money diversion. So far none of it has been done.
ReplyDeletelet them laugh. When the OIG rules that the city discriminated against the tenants and tells the city to refund the overcharge to the tenants, they can laugh at that too.
ReplyDeleteWhat should be on the agenda is HOW MUCH MONEY can the city afford to throw away on trying to close the airport they can't close. Smirk
