Keith Domke from the Missourian sent me an E-mal and stated that the articles in the Missourian that were posted on the blog are copyright protected.
“The Missourian is copyrighted and no part of it can be reproduced in any way without permission, and doing so is in violation of copyright laws.”
Mr. Domke offered no explanation as to why the Hangar rent article was not in the online version.
I removed a lot of the old articles, and everything that I could find that had the word Missourian or Keith or Domke in it.
If there was information that you want to refer to, leave a comment on the subject, and we will post a new article.
And I'm sure you're not getting permission! Of course, he has also quoted from your blog...
ReplyDeleteIn addition to reposting all the relevant documents and matters of public record ommited from our local paper, I hope you will repost the history of the establishment of the airport, the use of it in its heyday, and what it could be again if it were properly managed - as only you pilots can tell it!
ReplyDeleteI think that is funny but goes right along with what is normal for that paper. The good news is they are reading the blog and can still get the real story right here. It makes their reporting of airport news a joke.
ReplyDeleteThe law is the law, right boys?
ReplyDeleteThat's better
ReplyDeleteI hope you put up all the FAA and MODOT letters back up.
ReplyDeleteThe paper has posted the article up on their website at 10:30 this morning.
ReplyDeleteI will continue to spread the word about the bias newspaper and not in a good way.
ReplyDeleteCan't you include a link to the articles in the on-line version of the newspaper without violating copywrite protections? Everyone else does that, and I'm sure copywrite owners would prefer to have referrals to their publications and you certainly wouldn't be taking anything out of context...
